These are O rings which are formed by bending stock wire into the correct shape, and then applying a weld to the point where they join. The finish is applied after that process is complete. This differs from cast rings, which are poured as molten metal into a mold, and the resulting product is without a weld, and one solid piece. The welded wire rings (these) are by far both the most common, and the least expensive. Please note, these are not solid brass which is a lot more expensive. These have a myriad of uses, in leather, fashion, and industrial trades. We provide 2 measurements, the first, in inches, is the inner diameter of the ring.
